This weekend I embarked on a kitchen project that required lots of patience. I attempted to make homemade chocolate ice cream (recipe found here - thanks Emily for sending it when my phone decided to fail me). I am pretty picky about my ice cream, but I followed the exact recipe and it turned out really smooth and rich. Once I had the mixture prepped, I chilled it in the freezer. Every 20 minutes I would stir it, and then churning it took a while (this is where my patience was tested). Finally, a couple of hours later, I was able to enjoy this chocolatey treat.
